and Caring Staff
 Our staff are among the finest in the area. We fully staff our funeral services and visitations, allowing us here at Handler Funeral Homes to greet our visitors with a smile and assist them in finding the family they are here to visit.
The funeral service is the last place you want to
have inadequate assistance for your family and those visiting. Families,
pallbearers, and visitors are all assisted and directed from arrival to departure
by compassionate and professional members of Handler Funeral Homes.

Owner/Director
Nicholas Handler, Jr., CFSP
Nick
has been involved in funeral service since he was 18 years old. He
began his career with Allore Funeral Homes inMonroe, MI where he
served his apprenticeship. He graduated from Monroe County
Community College and received his
certificate in Mortuary Science from Wayne State
University. Nick has been a Tecumseh resident for over 10
years. He
joined Couture-Ochaleck Funeral Home in 1995, and became a partner with Gary Couture in
1997 to create Couture-Handler Funeral Homes. Nick became sole proprietor of the
funeral homes in April 2006.
“Funeral service is a passion to me. If it ever becomes a job , I
need to get out. I’m glad to be in
the Tecumseh/Clinton area and happy to call it home.”

Director
Bill Adams, CFSP
Bill Adams is currently the Manager of the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral
Homes. He was a local area dentist until he retired in 1965. He then took
interest
in the funeral profession and received his certification from Wayne State Univerity Department of Mortuary
Science in 1991. Bill has been a integeral part of the
Handler Funeral Homes since the early 1990's.

Director
Robert Filas, B.S., CFSP
Robert
is a recent gradute
of
Wayne State University where he received his Bachelor's
of
Science and was president of his
class.
He recently passed his state and national board examinations and
is
now a mortuary science
licensee. He
is a member of the American Embalmer's Society and Michigan Embalmer's
Society and has worked in the funeral profession since
2001.

Ollie Long
Ollie
Long has
been a Tecumseh resident since 1987 and has worked at Handler Funeral Homes for the
past 12 years. Ollie is
the funeral home's current Office Manager.
